Mechanical Engineering is a fundamental engineering discipline which has a broad application field. The nature constitute the basic principles of mechanical engineering. Outputs of mechanical engineering affect the technology and human life profoundly. Completing the mechanical engineering curriculum, you will be equipped with the required skills and the level of consciousness to interpret the environment and the life whilst acquiring a precious profession. In this vein, our department has been successfully carrying out its educational and research operations with qualified academic staff and a modern curriculum since 2011. Aforementioned features are serving for our aim of educating the leading engineers of tomorrow.
Our curriculum, which is designed according to the international standards, consists of mathematics, fundamental science, engineering science, design, experimental and numerical simulations and social science courses. Our curriculum is designed to provide the students with the required knowledge, skills and the experience in the fields of mechanical and thermal systems. A special emphasis is given to design, manufacturing, testing, analysis and the presentation of the test data for practical industrial systems.
In order to prepare our graduates to the professional life, cooperations are conducted on the project basis and program basis with industry. Projects carried out in teams, facilitate students with the ability and experience of working in interdisciplinary teams.
